Example of Targeted Content:

Many older struggling students have limited language exposure and vocabulary. It is important that these students improve vocabulary quickly – but which words are the most impactful words to teach? Reach developers answered that question by parsing a database of real-world English-language texts and materials comprising over 50 million words to determine frequency and utility measures for words in natural English language. Using the results of this analysis, Altis Reach delivers vocabulary instruction on the words that will have the greatest and most immediate value to that student’s real-world, day-to-day vocabulary.

The instructional units in Reach are organized across six conceptual themes, including Journeys, Challenges, Creativity, Motion & Energy, Culture and Nature, with 72 different comprehensive units each delivering multiple levels of instruction across Phonics, Vocabulary, Fluency and Comprehension.
